EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is an aminopolycarboxylic acid used in Rebalance Superceuticals to break down compound structures so your body can easily take in more nutrients. EDTA is also a chelator, meaning it binds and holds on to minerals and metals such as iron, lead, chromium, copper, mercury, aluminum, cobalt, zinc, nickel, calcium, magnesium and manganese. When these are bound, they won’t have any effects on the body and are removed.
